Kara joined the global FBI team in January 2014. She is charged with establishing the FBI brand in North America and is responsible for placing all levels of creative talent, across all disciplines. She is focused primarily on the USA market.


Prior to joining FBI, Kara was the Director of Creative Recruiting at CP+B and responsible for hiring all levels of creative talent for their offices in Boulder, Miami and Los Angeles.


Kara also spent 11 years at Leo Burnett, USA, where she was responsible for hiring entry-level creative talent and managing the agency’s internship program. In 2004, she left to become the Director of the Miami Ad School in Minneapolis, later returning to Burnett as VP/Director of Creative Recruiting and hiring all levels of creative talent. She left in 2009 to join CP+B headquarters in Boulder.


Kara serves on the Board of Directors at the Creative Circus in Atlanta, has contributed to three advertising books, co-chaired “The Show” for the Minneapolis Advertising Community and served on the YoungGuns International Advertising Awards jury.


Diane Magid

Diane joined the FBI global team in January 2015. Having spent the last 15 years as an award-winning art director and creative director, the move to FBI represents a new adventure for her, but one she’s distinctly prepared for. After getting her masters’ degree in advertising from the Brandcenter at VCU, Diane began her career in Portland, Oregon. She then went on to spend time at some of the biggest and best agencies in New York, Chicago, and Seattle.


Over the years, her work has been recognized by the industry’s most prestigious award shows and publications, including Cannes, The One Show, D&AD, the Clios and Communication Arts. Even while she was happily bouncing around the country as a creative, Diane always had a serious interest in recruiting. We’re extremely happy to have her onboard as her background as both candidate and client gives her an extremely unique perspective. And if nothing else we’re pretty sure she’s won more Cannes Lions and OneShow pencils than any other recruiter out there.
