Michael oversees the operation of FBI globally and manages the growing team of specialised Talent Managers. Operationally, Michael focuses on sourcing and connecting world-class Creative people with agencies and creative companies in all major international markets. He has played a key role in planning, developing and managing the careers of many of advertising’s present and future creative leaders.


Whilst mainly handling Creative Leadership and Senior Creative positions globally, Michael also has a passion for managing the careers of up and coming Creatives; spending a lot of his time mentoring and developing career plans for those in the early stages of their career. He is also still actively involved with the YoungGuns International Advertising Awards, which he co-founded in 2001. Michael is based out of FBI’s Sydney office.

Working across contract, freelance and permanent roles, Stephen strives to build long term value-add partnerships with both clients and talent to provide the best possible service.

Georgie McMaster is a Creative Talent Manager at FBI Talent Co and a market leader in freelance creative placements, alongside full-time roles. She specialises in placing Creative Teams, Art Directors, Copywriters, and Creative Directors, securing permanent and freelance opportunities with agencies worldwide. Known for her intuitive approach and genuine care for both talent and clients, Georgie ensures each placement is the right fit for both parties.


With a background in production and creative management, and experience working in both the US and Australia, she brings a deep understanding of the creative industry and a keen insight into the needs of both talent and agencies. Since joining FBI in 2008, she has built strong, long-term relationships within the Australian and international creative community, making her a trusted and empathetic partner in talent placement.


Nicole Birtwistle

Nicole worked in the creative industry as a Design Lead for over 15 years prior to moving to FBI Talent Co. She has led design teams at large fully integrated agencies around the world and was responsible for the delivery of work on some of the worlds leading brands across consumer technology, automotive, Food & Beverage and FMCG categories.


Nicole joined the FBI team in 2015 and uses her in-depth industry Design and Agency experience to service clients and manage the Design Talent from a full-time and freelance perspective. Nicole prides herself on her candidate mentorship and the ability to be able to advise designers on how to craft a portfolio and best present their work. Her insider knowledge is an advantage when placing candidates into design roles and while working with clients, helping them to grow and shape effective design teams to best suit their needs.
